- communications from Ministry of Home Security regarding: deep tunnel shelters, governing principles; summoning Air Raid Precautions personnel in the absence of an air raid; Air Raid Precautions Training Bulletin No.3;

- communications from Senior Regional Officer regarding: military assistance; unexploded bombs and parachute mines; co-operation with military authorities; cement control; Wardens' Post at Upper Sundon Sub-Post Office; Air Raid Precautions Store at 22 Bromham Road, Bedford; extra shelters for Cranfield; public shelter at 18 Kingsbury Court, Dunstable; Wardens' Post at Biddenham House;
