1050. Samuel Greg & Co., Bury (RV). Oct., Nov. 1834. 6 items.
40 horse power side lever boat engine for land, with 35½ inch cylinder, 3½ foot stroke.

Coloured drawings by Wren & Bennett - longitudinal section of the engine house showing part of external wall of mill, plan of the engine house and shafts showing part of mill; reverse longitudinal section of the engine house, plan of the tunnel and covering stones, plan and transverse section of the engine house; metallic piston and rod - coloured original and reverse drawings (the original is marked "Benjamin Goodfellow's Patent"). The reverse drawings of the engine house bear letter codes.

For Samuel Greg & Co. Hudcar Mill, Bury, Lancashire. The mill was used for cotton spinning and weaving.
