The Act 6 Geo IV c 50 (1825) required Overseers of each parish to send to the Clerk of the Peace lists of those eligible for Jury Service. Qualification was limited to men between the ages of 21 and 60 who were:
- owners of freehold or copyhold land worth at least £10 a year
- holders of leases for 21 years or more of an annual value of £20
- rated as householders at £20
- occupiers of houses with 15 or more windows.
The returns give: Parish or Township (in Towns, the name of the street)
