This collection of his papers relates to the history of power generation in the North West of England and was started during the closure of Stuart Street Power Station in the hope that an archive within the electricity industry would be established. Power Gen showed no inclination to establish such an archive and on Mr Warrington's death his family offered the collection to this Museum.

The collection was received by the Museum in January 2000.
