Elizabeth Massey died 31 December 1838. Samuel Cheeke Morris died 25 January 1839 leaving a will dated 1 July 1834.
Consideration :- £600 due on mortgage to Barnett, £219.15.10 to the parties of the 12th part; and £680.4.2 (residue of the purchase money of £1500 agreed on for the whole property) paid to the Morrises as trustees, and 10s to the other parties
Conveyance of the messuage and 36 acres land at Stoke upon Tern (formerly William Watkiss, then John Leicester, late James Simon), clear of all encumbrances.
Witnesses:- Henry Webster, Eastgate, Leicester; Thomas Toovey and P.W.Powney, clerks to Messrs Paniger and Westmacott of 1 Grays Inn Square; Henry Gromley, Mr Warren's clerk; W.Mayler clerk to Mr Walker, solicitor, Chester; Edward Maddock, clerk to Mr Walker.
