Dr Hull has delivered the Ashburnham papers. He will transfer the typescript to the East Sussex Record Office where the Ashburnham archives are deposited, but the letters from Lady Catherine Ashburnham to NG's brother [Rupert] will be closed for 35 years; they are an important picture of the 1940s. Sends sympathy on the death of [Rupert], and says that he admired his knowledge and work.
