Deposited by Mr P Bennett. The records were given to Mr Bennett by a friend living in the same village a Mr R Lane, Mr Lane had acquired the minute books and accounts as part of an auction lot. There is no discernable connection between the two companies. The last recorded meeting of Edward Tasker Ltd took place at 213 High Street, Lewes the offices of Messrs Adams and Remers, solicitors. John Remers, a partner of the firm, was director of the company.
The minute books were given to Mr Bennett by a friend living in the same village, Mr R Lane. Mr Lane had acquired the minute books as part of an auction lot
