London
Memorandum of an agreement by signatories:-
Whereas Mr Valentine Pell is engaged with them in a Chancery suit in which Pell and others are plaintiffs and Preist and Sherman defendants, the signatories agree that for the sum further spent in the suit they will pay each man a fifth of Mr Pell's proportion by poundage. If the costs are taxed and levied on anyone of them they will pay proportionally for every pound as their debts were due from Preist deceased, and for what is Mr Pell's proportion to pay towards the cost if levied on them - each man to pay 1/5 of Pell's cost.
