Present: Mr. Mayer, Mr. Steward, Mr. Townclerk, Mr. Williams, Mr. Cutlis, Mr. Hill, Revd. J. Wingfield, Mr. Smith.
Ordered that a cistern to contain 100 gallons be placed under the Cock in the quarry and three cocks placed therein for the better accommodation of persons resorting thereto for water.
That application be made to the drapers Company for leave to lay a pipe for conveying water from near the Cold bath at the can office to supply Belmont and parts adjacent to it.
That notice be given for an application to Parliament for powers for better supplying the town with water.
