Lease for term of life or survivor of party 2, with reserved rights of timber, game, and ingress, at a peppercorn rent, of a messuage in Shrigley now occupied by the said Edward Downes, with the garden, coachouse, stable, outbuildings; and cottages adjacent occupied by Priscilla Friggatt, James Beard, Sarah Bradley, Thomas Heginbotham; and fields in Shrigley called Church Meadows.

(Margins of text are annotated in pencil with the diplomatic pointers to the contents of the document. The whole has been damp for a long time, and is badly discoloured and stained. Fungold traces.) Seals, two, an placard, 18mm diameter, a plain grill-patern impression.
