Draft Will

Of George Singer (described as in PA/101/8/151) naming as executors his wife, Charles James Stringer and G.H. Hayward, and appointing her guardian of his children; Eliza Ann's and Hayward's legacies are as in PA/101/8/151; on sale of the residuary estate, £500 each will pass to the testator's mother and sister provided that his wife's and sister's legacies do not exceed one-tenth of the total (in which case they would be proportionately reduced); the rest will be invested for Eliza Ann for life with remainder to her and the testator's children (and issue), empowering her to appoint how any of that money might be distributed amongst them and allowing a moiety of each infant's share to be used towards its advancement; the trustees may continue the firm of Singer & Co which the testator owns with C.J. Stringer - they may accept in shares, rather than money, up to one-third of a buyer's payment for the business and deal with the capital as in PA/101/8/151.
