Letter of Moses Isaacs, Provincial Grand Secretary, Kingston, Jamaica informing Robert Leslie, Grand Secretary, that the provincial grand lodge will consider obtaining a renewal of the warrant destroyed by damp. Provides a list of provincial grand lodge officers as: Francis Owen, Provincial Grand Master, Henry Finton, Deputy Provincial Grand Master, Jeremiah Levy, Provincial Grand Senior Warden, I I Itter, Provincial Grand Junior Warden, Jacob Bassan, Provincial Grand Treasurer, Moses Isaacs, Provincial Grand Secretary, Aaron Delisser, Provincial Grand Senior Deacon, Moses Sanguinetti, Provincial Grand Junior Deacon and [?] Whitney, Provincial Grand Sword Bearer. Endorsed: draft response by Robert Leslie indicating that the renewal of the provincial grand lodge is under consideration, regrets that the matter has caused issues between provincial grand lodge officers and suspends the jurisdiction of the provincial grand lodge until an appeal is heard by the Grand Lodge.

Provincial Grand Lodge, No. 1 was granted a warrant by the Antients' Grand Lodge on 1 June 1796 to meet as No. 301 at the Masons' Hall, Port Royal Street, Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies. The Lodge was erased at the time of the union between the Antients' and Moderns' Grand Lodges to form the United Grand Lodge of England in 1813.
