Pw Jd 6254-6260 are a series of leather bound journals, all in Bentinck's hand, with the exception of Pw Jd 6259 which was kept at Palermo in Bentinck's absence by Joseph Smith. Pw Jd 6261-6264 appear to be in more of a notebook form, but nevertheless, provide detailed accounts of events in Sicily.
