In September 1983 Professor Seymon Melman of the Dept. of Industrial Engineering & Operations Research, Columbia University, kindly deposited in the Centre his working papers for his study Decision-making and productivity (Oxford, Blackwell, 1958), which was primarily concerned with the Standard Motor Co. Ltd., Canley, Coventry.
The material, which is housed in 2 loose-leaf binders, arranged in chapter order, comprises notes on 5" x 3" cards, or equivalent, together with other items in typescript or print.
