Parties 1) Joseph Quatermaine of Chipping Norton, upholsterer. 2) Francis Wells of Chipping Norton, butcher. Property: Messuage on north side of New St., Chipping Norton, formerly held by Samuel Hodge, then by Abraham Quatermaine, then by Robert Pickering and now by Thomas Walker Gardner, and 2 cottages adjoining the messuage, one on the east and the other on the west, formerly held by Samuel Hodge and James Roberts, then by Elizabeth Kirtland and George Hathaway, then by James Humphris and Charles Raymond and now by George Webb and Charles Blackwell; and allotment piece of land in Southcomb Common, Chipping Norton (1a.3r.22p) and numbered 60 on the enclosure map now occupied by William Bull. Recites marriage settlement dated 21/Jul/1801 and that the marriage took place. Recites that under the enclosure of Southcomb Common and the Great Common, Chipping Norton, Thomas Edward Washbourne allotted to Abraham Quatermaine, the allotment hereby conveyed, in lieu of the common rights appurtenant to the messuage and premises. Recites that Elizabeth Quatermaine d. 20 December 1841, and Abraham Quatermaine died 31 December 1849, and that 1. is their heir at law, as the eldest son. Consideration of 10s. paid to 1. by 2., Notes: 1. conveys to 2. and his heirs: 2. shall hold the premises on trust for 1. and his heirs, in order to bar the entail
