Two 50 horse power side lever boat engines, with 39½ inch cylinders, 3½ foot strokes.

Cross-section of the boat and engines, longitudinal section of the engine room etc., plan of the engine sleepers, longitudinal section of boiler and plan of the top - drawings made in the London office; section and plan of boiler - original and reverse drawings made in the London office; paddle wheel and shaft - coloured original and coloured reverse drawings (with letter codes); notes and sketches of paddle shafts, engines etc. sent to the Foundry (3 small sheets stuck together); sketch of headstock and plummer block.

For the United Margate Steam Packet Co. Boulton Watt & Co.'s engines replaced the boat's existing engines in 1827. The firm was later referred to as the Margate Steam Packet Co.
