Folio 192. Draft letter from the Local Government Board to Walter May Barton, Clerk to the Guardians of the Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union acknowledging receipt of his letter dated 16 April 1885 enclosing the vaccination contract between the guardians and R L Mosley for the North Elmham district. The Board approves of the contract and return it together with Mosley's special certificate of proficiency in vaccination [not included]. However the approval is given subject to changes being made in the contract. The word Gateley should be omitted from the payment clause, as there is no station at that place. Also in the final stipulation the word 'statutes' should be substituted for 'statute' and the words 'and Local Government Board' should be added. They confirm that they have forward to the Public Vaccinator a copy of the regulations relating to his duties.
