PARTIES:

1a. William Quartermaine the elder of Ensham, Oxon, yeoman.

b. Mary, wife of 1a.

c. William Quartermaine the younger of Ensham aforesaid, yeoman, son and heir apparent of 1a.

2a. John Gibbons of Ensham aforesaid, yeoman.

b. Mary, wife of 2a. and dau. of 1a. by 1b.

3. James Tuckey of Cassington, Oxon, cordwainer.

SUBJECT OF TRANSACTION:

Premises as cat. no. Blake/V/1.

Recites Indenture of 20 June 1718 (cat. no. Blake/V/2. and articles of agreement of 23 Oct. (1724) in consideration of a marriage between 2a. and 2b. in which 1a. agreed to pay 2a. £100 for a portion for 2b. (part of the £200 agreed to be secured to her in cat. no. Blake. V/2.

1. have agreed that the £100 shall be borrowed from 3. plus a further £100 in consideration of £100 paid to 1. and £100 paid by 2. by 3. with the consent of 1. 1. mortgage the premises to 2. for term of 500 yrs. Covenant to levy a fine. Covenant for redemption of mortgage.
