Description

Consists of correspondence, publications, press cuttings, reports concerning: British troops visiting tolerated brothels in France and Germany (First and Second World Wars); numbers of soldiers with venereal disease in France, Germany, Egypt and India; organising a deputation to the Prime Minister David Lloyd George in 1921 to present evidence with aim of amending King's Regulations (to make brothels in occupied areas out of bounds to British troops); an army lecture series on sex education (1940s)
