(of Coventry, aldermen) in £20/16/- for spending half that sum, formally on four dozen wheaten loaves per week for distribution amongst St. Michael's pa. poor according to the gift of the late Thomas Jesson, but in fact on 26 x 2d. loaves for a dole every Sunday after Morning Prayer.
