6th March 1856. James Harrison at Chester to P.S.Humberston concerning the screen for the organ blower ordered by sub-committee. There is no other work going forward in or about the Hall by the Company except completion of the organ.
7th July 1856. Circular letter from Phil. S. Humberston, Chairman of an extraorinary general meeting of the proprietors of Chester Music Hall, advertizing one hundred and twenty-one shares remaining unapropriated, which he hopes will be taken up before an adjourned meeting on the 23r.
