Joseph Burnes, als. Richard Webster, of St. Ewe, lab. indicted for taking a man's cloth coat, property of Walter Blake: public whipping, and 1 year's hard labour in gaol, and in meantime if he be claimed as deserter from 28th Regiment of Foot to be delivered to that regiment. If he was not a deserter he must 'voluntarily' enter his Majesty's Land or Sea service.
