He patrolled the enemy line for seven hours, destrying machine gun emplacements and several strongpoints, thus materially assisting a brigade to reach their objective.
(NB, Original recommendation "During the action on the Hindenburg Line on April 23rd, fought his tank from "zero hour" 4.45am until 12 noon, continuously. He patrolled the Hindenburg Line immediately south of the River Sensee for seven hours, destroying machine gun emplacements and several strong points.
