The Charity Commissioners could not find this book in 1826 when they surveyed all charities. They said "The books.......go no farther back than to the year 1745."
This volume was rescued c 1924 from many other papers and documents destroyed after the bankruptcy of Ralph Freem, [a Gloucester solicitor in the firm of Champrey Cork and Freem], by M. L. Watts, an employee.
