Administrative / biographical background

The Trafalgar Lodge was established in 1804 and met at the Duke of York Inn, Magdalen Street, Colchester. In 1820 the lodge moved to Brightlingsea and met at the Anchor Inn, Waterside. The lodge was named in 1805 and was erased in 1828.
