Extracts of the Madras Government's correspondence, proceedings, minutes etc in the Secret Department sent home with their Secret Letters to the EIC Court of Directors and subsequently used by the Board of Control when drafting secret dispatches to Madras. Madras Secret Enclosures relating to the Java Expedition of 1811 are not to be found here but in Java Factory Records, G/21/11-12 and 16
