Manuscript letter from Dr. Andrew St. Lawrence-Burke to Dr. Ormerod inquiring whether medical men with the qualifications MRCS and LRCP should be allowed to be allowed to put "Dr" on their name-plates, on style themselves "Dental Surgeons" while possessing no dental degree. 24 Jan. 1910. With note by Dr. Ormerod that L.R.C.P. was not entitled to style himself "Dr.", or append "MD" to his name unless he had a University degree. 24 Jan. [1910.]
RCP-LEGAC/2411/7. Andrew St. Lawrance - Burke. Manuscript letter to Dr. Ormerod stating he had not answered his question whether LRCP or MRCS could use title "Dr.", on his plate, and could directions be given to make him change his plate and whether LRCP could style himself Dental Surgeon without dental qualifications. 29 Jan. 1910. With note by Dr. Ormerod stating a Bye-Law prohibited any LRCP from using title "Dr." unless he had a degree; that there was no Bye-Law relating to the title of Dental surgeon; and that if he had grounds for complaint against any LRCP his proper course was to address the Censors Board. 31 Jan. [1910]
RCP-LEGAC/2411/8. Andrew St. Lawrance-Burke. Manuscript letter to Dr. Ormerod drawing attention of Censor's Board to a plate at the residence of a Mr. Bradley, [who styled himself "Dr."] and stating that he believed he had the qualifications MRCS LRCP but no University degree. 7 March 1910.
RCP-LEGAC/2411/9. Andrew St. Lawrance-Burke. Manuscript letter to Dr. Ormerod inquiring whether any steps had been taken against Mr. Bradley, as his plate still bore the title "Dr." Bradley. 30 March 1910.
