Administrative / biographical background

The Special Investigation Sub-Committee was basically a general purpose sub-committee, and was appointed to consider any matters referred to it by the main committee. It was merged into the Redevelopment and Special Purposes Sub-Committee in July 1966 (see BCC/1/AO/11).
