Description

Herman Hingsberg (Hamburg) to Richd. How (directed to widow Wilson, callendar, Bow Lane, Cheapside) Glad to hear poor Dicky has another tooth, but sorry to hear sister [Susannah] has had tooth ache so bad to be forced to have it drawn. Betty has decided to stay in Amsterdam if her mother agrees: mention of £7.10.0d, per annum, Sorry to hear cousin Abr. Barber was buried on the 4th day, & that cousin Joseph is visited with a severe ague. - F.D. has a grandchild about 6 months old and has 5 teeth a very jolly boy - Mentions cousin van der Smissen, Cousin Henry. Geo. Joysell, W[arner] L[ulofs], trade, etc.
