A letter from Leverhulme to D'Arcy Cooper
Date
1923
Description

A discussion about the pros and cons of having an advertising wrapper around a different product and quoting correspondence with Sir Coleman in 1905 about the merits or otherwise of doing this type of advertising. The South African government would charge on the weight of the product including wrappers which would make the article uncompetitive. He is pleased to note that Woodward's Baby soap is withdrawn.
