Deed to Lead the uses of a Fine

Between (a) George Parker of Kingston-upon-Thames, co. Surrey, plumber and glazier, and Betty his wife, (b) Edmund Caigear of Walberton, husbandman, and Elizabeth his wife, (c) Edward Carleton of Arundel, gent., (d) Richard Jay of the Salts, Lancing, yeo., (e) Anne Ford of Angmering, widow, and (f) John Gorham of Arundel, miller

I-III Property described as in Add Mss 26,334

IV Messuage, garden, and premises in Walberton in occupation of (b), adjoining to the road from Walberton to Yapton on the S., to lands of John Float on the N., to an orchard of Ellis, widow, on the E., and to a messuage of Sturt on the W. (This property conveyed to (f) by lease and release dated 5, 6 September 1775)

By this deed the said parties agree to levy a fine to the intent that the said property may be devised in manner following, viz. I to the use of such person as may be appointed by (a) and in default of such appointment to the use of (a), his heirs and assigns, forever; II to the use of (d), his heirs and assigns, forever; III to the use of (e), her heirs and assigns, forever; and IV to the use of (f), his heirs and assigns, forever
