Administrative / biographical background

The Royal Yorkshire Lodge No. 265 was established in 1788 and met at Devonshire Arms, Church Street, Keighley, Yorkshire. In 1788 the lodge was named The Milnes Lodge and it was renamed the Royal Yorkshire Lodge in the same year. The lodge now meets at the Masonic Hall, Cooke Street, Keighley.
