Description

"... a true copy of the original warrant of attorney the same having been examined therewith by us this 9th day of October 1827" Wm. Morgan, Jn. Mansell, witnesses.

"To William Henry Slaney and William Yeates Alban attornies of the court of Kings Bench at Westminster..."

Recited indentures

28 & 29 September 1827 (see No.279/84 & 85) and whereas Thomas Lloyd has agreed to secure the payment of the said sum of £8000 by a warrant for attorney with judgement to be entered up in pursuance thereof in the Court of Kings Bench at Westminster as of Michaelmas term next or as of some subsequent term in an action of trespass and ejection against Lloyd at the suit of Thomas Francis his heirs or assigns for recovery of the messuage involved called Cause Farm. This is to authorise the attornies named to appear for Lloyd in an action for trespass and ejectment of farm at the suit of John Doe on the demise of Thomas Francis for 3 messuages 3 curtilages 6 yards 3 barns 3 Cowhouses 3 hovels 6 stables 6 gardens 3 orchards 500 acres of land 500 acres of common, 500 acres of arable land and 100 acres of furze and heath in the parish of Westbury which Thomas Francis had on 1 October demised to John Doe for the term of 14 years from the 30 September for action of record to be entered upon against Lloud of record in the said court for the recovery of the said term and 40 /- damages besides costs of suit and he authorises the attorneys to execute any sufficient release to Thomas Francis and for what the attornies shall cause to be done this shall be a sufficient warranty. No execution shall be taken out upon the said judgement until default in payment shall be made.
