Description

Thomas Hill writes to his Uncle.

Concerning stock - S.S. etc.

He thanks his uncle for the permission of going to Paris with Mons. Cantillon, but Ms. C. has changed his mind. If his uncle thinks it right, he will spend this winter in France "peutetre qu'il est trop pereleuse de s'engager ici car touts les vieux Marchands crient qu'ils n'auront plus a faire a present avec l'Angleterre".

He cannot send the volumes of the Historical Atlas as asked, the 5, 6 and 7 volumes are printed by Messrs. Honore et Chatelain who are disassociated at present. He has packed off two copies of the first four volumes and sent them by the Chandois Shop, Captain Tobie Jewers, addressed to Sir Matew Decker.
