MILTON DAMAREL
Letters Patent dated 7 July, 26. Eliz. (1584) Reciting that by fine, East 23. Eliz. (1581) Sir William Courtenay Knt, conveyed to Mark Cottell a messuage, barn, garden, 100a. of land, and c, in Buttermore and Milton Damarell, for a settlement upon Sir William and his heirs, the Queen's Licence not having been first obtained, and pardoning the trespass.
The name Ambrose Barry 1638 is written several times on this Deed.
