A fee-farm rent of £25 from:

1 Salernes chantry and Gauthoms or Gauethorne chantry in Hastings and all the messuages and land in Hastings belonging to them

2 The stipend at the altar of Jesus in the church of Hastings St Clement with land in Hastings, land in Bexhill rent 5s, land in Hastings All Saints and two closes called Bexley Closes (4a) in Hastings, occupied by Thomas [Sackville], lord Buckhurst, rent 12s

3 Rents of 3s 4d and 3s 4d from the church lands of Hastings All Saints, a rent of 6s 8d from land called Sharps in Hastings, 20d from the Church House in Hastings, given for lamps and obits

4 Land called the Stone Beach in Hastings with all the messuages and buildings lately built upon it, land called Clift Lands and all other land given for obits in the churches of Hastings All Saints and Westham, with land by a gate in Clive

5 Land called Sharpe Lands, lands in Hastings occupied by Thomas Colgate, lands and tenements called Magdalens Lands and Church Fields

6 Land, fresh and salt marsh in Hastings concealed or unjustly detained from the crown

7 The advowson of the rectory of Hastings St Mary in the Castle (commonly called the Castle parish of St Andrew), granted by patent Hastings Corporation, 14 Feb 1589

Sold (with another fee-farm rent of £4 13s 4d) by the trustees for the sale of fee-farm rents under an act of 1671 (Francis [Hawley] lord Hawley, Charles Harbord, kt, HM surveyor-general, William Harward of Tandridge in Surrey, kt, John Talbot of Lacock in Wiltshire, kt, Robert Stewart of Lincoln's Inn, kt, and William Harbord of Graston Park in Northamptonshire, esq), to JP, granting this annuity for £498 6s 8d, enrolled in chancery, 23 Mar 1671
