Probate copy of the will of William Braine of Great Woolverton in Stoulton, co. Worcs., yeoman, dated 27 July 1697, bequeathing to his grandson, John Braine, his land in Newland in the parish of Much Malvern, co. Worcs., which he acquired by marriage, and his property in Snitterfield, with the proviso that his mother should receive the rents thereof until he comes of age. He further directs that his daughter-in-law, Anne Braine, whom he appoints executrix, shall enjoy all the personal estate of her late husband, William Braine, the testator's son.
