Blue quarter-leather album, measuring 265 x 392 mm, containing mounted prints with handwritten captions. The majority of the photographs are duplicates of prints in Photo 806/1 and 806/2. Prints 1-11 Famous Delhi monuments and sites. Prints 12-22 Views in Rajasthan, including Alwar, Jaipur and Amber. Prints 23-25 The Taj Mahal and Itimad-ud-daulah's tomb, Agra. Print 26 Humayun's Tomb, Delhi. Prints 27-32 Architectural views at Sikandra, Fatehpur Sikri and Agra. Prints 33-35 Kanpur memorial well and Sati Chaura Ghat. Prints 36-44 Lucknow architecture, including the Residency, Great Imambara, La Martiniere College, the Alambagh and Husainabad Imambara. Print 45 Thomason College, Roorkee. Print 46 River scene, Hardwar. Print 47 Aqueduct, Roorkee. Prints 48-51 Views at Ajmer, including the Mayo College. Prints 52-54 Views at Chittaurgarh. Prints 55-57 River scenes, Indore. Prints 58-61 Group of Khyber Rifles and forts in the Khyber Pass (Ali Masjid, Jamrud and Fort Tytler). Print 62 Bridge at Attock. Print 63 Landi Kotal Fort. Prints 64-66 Views of the Indus at Attock. Prints 67-72 Views at Udaipur, including the lakes, Mahasati cenotaphs and Jagdish temple. Prints 73-76 Kampthi cantonment views and portrait of G.C. Hogg with Mrs Thomas. Prints 77-80 Views in Kashmir, including Srinagar, Domel and Baramula. Prints 81-83 Views of G.C. Hogg's bungalow at Disa, and a croquet party. Prints 84-86 Views of Srinagar and Baramula. Collection of Major-General George Crawford Hogg (1842-1941), who entered the Bombay Cavalry in 1858 and served in the Second Afghan War 1878-80; he was Quartermaster General, Bombay 1891-95 and commanded the Deesa District 1895-1900; transferred to unemployed supernumerary list 1904.
