Description

(i) Alexander Carroll of Dublin;

Rt. Hon. Benjamin Burton of Burton Hall, Co. Carlow, an executor of Thomas Keatinge of Narraghmore, Co. Kildare; Edward Harman of Dublin; Thomas Cobb, executor of Charles, Archbishop of Dublin; James Carroll of Ballymore, Co. Wicklow; Revd. Richard Beauchamp of Narraghmore.

(ii) Maurice Keatinge of Narraghmore.

(iii) James, Marquess of Kildare.

Recital: 3-4 Dec 1765 conveyance (in consideration of £10,887 paid by the Marquess of Kildare to John Tunnadine (of the Irish Court of Chancery), Beauchamp Bagenal (of Dunleckney, Co. Carlow) and Hon. John Bourke (an Irish revenue-commissioner)) by Maurice Keatinge, his wife Elizabeth, Maurice Coppinger (executor of John Coppinger), Beauchamp Bagenal and Hon. John Bourke (Richard Nelson of Dublin acting as the Marquess' trustee) to Kildare of St. John's manor, Athy in Co. Kildare and Queen's Co.; the Easter Term, 1754 obtainment by Alexander Carroll of a judgement against M. Keatinge for £5,657/4/8 debt; the Michaelmas Term, 1754 obtaining by Thomas Keatinge of Narraghmore of a judgement against M. Keatinge's for £1,000 debt; T. Keatinge's death, having appointed Rt. Hon. Benjamin Burton and others his executors; the Michaelmas Term, 1752 attainment by Edward Harman of a judgement against M. Keatinge for £450; the Trinity Term, 1754 attaining by the late Archbishop of Dublin of a judgement against M. Keatinge for £12,870 twice [sic]; the Archbishop's nominating Thomas Cobb an executor; the Easter Term, 1757 achievement by James Carroll of a judgement against M. Keatinge for £300; and the Trinity Term, 1757 achieving by Revd. Richard Beauchamp of a judgement against Maurice Keatinge for £300.

Consideration: £10,887 aforesaid and 10/- each.

Transaction: (i) promise that Kildare may hold the lands free from the judgements.
