Date: 13th-16th centuries
Description: Early charters from Ep/VI/1/6 volume have been printed by Dugdale, Kemble and Birch.
Arrangement: Until Bishop Sherburne's episcopate (1508-1536) Libri D and E formed one volume. At that time the volume was divided so that all provincial constitutions and allied documents were in Liber D and all royal charters and diocesan documents in Liber E. Later, possibly during the Civil War, Liber D was lost and passed into the hands of Elias Ashmole, the antiquary.
