Release from legacy of £100 by Mary Taylor of 14 Howard St., Arwick nr. Manchester, Lancs, widow, née Gough, John Clayton of Castle Caerinion, Montgom, and Eleanour his wife, née Gough, John Chamberlain of 14 Draycott St., Chelsea, Middx, and Ann his wife, and Richard Lawrence of Upper Hem, Forden, Montgom. and Margaret his wife, which Mary, Eleanour Ann and Margaret are the 4 only surviving children of Sarah Gough decd. wife of Thomas Gough late of Montgomery, farmer, which Sarah Gough was daughter of Samuel Groves late of Priest Weston and Margaret his wife, both decd.
Recital will of Samuel Groves leaving £100 to his daughter Sarah, and at her death to her children.

Sir Offley Penbury Wakeman died on 20 Sept. 1858 - will and one codicil devising all his freehold estates in Co. Salop, including the Priest Weston Estate to uses of the settlement of 24 June 1830 - to the use afterhis death of the 1st son of Sir O.P. Wakeman and his heirs male - by his will appointed Louisa Wakeman of Coton Hall, widow, Henry Smith Adlington of Holme Hale Hall, Norfolk, Esq. Offley Francis Drake Wakeman of Coton Hall, Esq. and Emily Offley, wife of William Lucius Cary of Rugby, Warwicks, executrixes and executors of his will and guardians of his children during their minorities - proved Dec. 1858 in P.C.C. Sir O.P. Wakeman left 2 infant sons - Sir Offley Wakeman, bart, his 1st, and Henry Wakeman, youngest. Sarah Gough died in Jan. 1861, buried in Chirbury churchyard, leaving the said 4 daughters who have requested the executors to pay them the £100 charge on the Priest Weston Estate.
In consideration of £100 to Mary &c, they release the executors from the sum and the property from it.
