20 horse power crank engine, with 23¾ inch cylinder, 5 foot stroke, parallel motion, cast iron beam, cast iron connecting rod.
Also dyeing apparatus, 1807.Reverse plan and sections of the engine and boiler houses and boiler. All the drawings bear letter codes.
Also the following items re dyeing apparatus: list of pumps, cocks, pipes, valves and 20 horse boiler wanted, 23 May 1807; plan and elevation of the dyehouse, boiler house and engine, showing pipes, dye vessels etc., dated Jun. 1807 with later alterations stuck on; later plan and elevation of the dyehouse, boiler house and engine, showing pipes, apparatus etc., dated 16 Sep. 1807.Original Portfolio or 'Book' No. 563.
