This collection is composed mainly of sale particulars issued by W.H.Lee and Co. and by other auctioneers and agents. With the major exception of most of those for small urban properties, the majority contain plans. Many are marked with prices fetched at auction. Those issued by Lee, save for duplicate copies, are almost all so marked; often there are two marked copies, one the auctioneer's, one his clerk's.
The collection also includes sale catalogues, Ordnance Survey Town Plans of Ware and Great Anwell of 1851 and a map of an estate in Ware in 1835
