Description

Includes prints of Howden church 1845, sepulchral remains near Driffield 1852, monolith at Rudston 1855, refuge cross at Walkington Road near Beverley 1859, 1860, Kirkham Priory 1860, west door of Etton church 1860, south door of Kirkburn church 1860, church door at Bishop Wilton 1862, tomb in Lowthrope churchyard 1863, cards from a children's game [?] showing tannery in Beverley c.1871; also with mortgage of the Manor of Faxfleet 1607; copy writ from the sheriff of York to John de Carleton, bailiff of the Liberty of Holderness, to summon a jury to inquire into the claim that in 1308 John de Beverley of Seton unjustly detained two charters of Alice de Hoveden 1662.
