Jane Field's commonplace book. Poems, copy engravings (scenes in the Lake District and the North of England), pencil sketches and watercolours (locations not given in the main).
Cover 'Jane F.Field, 1834'. Also includes silhouette of her mother (1788-1830)
NOTE: Jane Frances Field was born on 9 September 1814, the daughter of Francis and Jane Field of Well Street, and baptised at St Thomas Square Chapel. By 1832 the Fields were living at Paradise Place and were still resident there in 1843. Jane had two sisters, Emma and Elizabeth (aged 24 and 19 in 1841).
