Description

Of a devise to Thos. Drake, Thos. Northey and Richard Jewell, to be sold for payment of younger children's portions, of a moiety of the manor or reputed manor, capital messuage or farm called Weard in Brightling; the moiety of a copyhold messuage, tenement or farm called Bodles and Innings inn Brightling

And all other his lands and tenements in Sussex which were given to his wife by John Glyd her brother and had since by fine and other conveyance been settled on his wife and himself for raising portions for children. Out of proceeds four daughters Ann, Martha, Elizabeth and Sarah to have £400 apiece
