SCC/23/1: 1597-1617 (Spitsbergen) -- Loose notebook pages with references to Sir Thomas Smith Governor of Muscovie Companie, a petition of the English Merchants for discovery of trades and an agreement by Benjamin Joseph and Anthony Momier. -- Two Geographical Journal offprints; 'Hudson's voyage to Spitsbergen in 1907' by Sir Martin Conway (Geographical Journal, February 1900). 'Joris Carolus discoverer of Edge Island, a forgotten Arctic explorer' (Geographical Journal, June 1901).

SSC/23/3: 1611-1631 -- Loose notebook pages with references to Muscovie Companie, trade, Scotland and notes on letters and affadavits (many taken from Purchas III) made by R. Salmon, John Catcher, William Heley and others. -- Also notes regarding soap and its history. -- A newscutting from the National Observer (August 15 1896) concerning piece by William Conway and his overwintering during September 1895 - May 1896 with description of rescue by two Hull ships. Annotation 'Captain Lancelot'.
