They comprise letters and papers by or concerning members of the Pearson family of Yorkshire and Mountcross, Co. Cork, from the late seventeenth century almost to the present. The collection includes an extensive genealogical tree compiled by Mrs Laville which clarifies relationships between members of the family who appear in this Handlist.
