The testator bequeaths £100 to his wife Hannah, £500 to his son Richard and £350 to his daughter Elizabeth Hollick; the trustees will invest £800 and pay the dividends to Sarah Masser with remainder to her children (the trustees applying a maximum of one-third of each child's share towards its maintenance) - if she marries acceptably, the trustees may pay Sarah £300 of the £800 but otherwise the full sum will go to the testator's other children; William [II] will inherit the farm; Hannah will have half the household goods and the rest be equally shared by William [II] and Sarah, but he will take ready money and a pew at the west end of the south gallery of Foleshill church; Richard is confirmed in occupation of his pew, both sons will enjoy a pew under the reading-desk (occupied by William Jackson), and E. Hollick and S. Masser will accept two in the gallery occupied by the testator's wife and Thomas Heydon; during her widowhood, Hannah will benefit from a £16 p.a. rentcharge upon Hartletts Close - the land is described as in PA/101/12/124, but at its sale the trustees will reimburse Richard for any damage caused by mining; Hannah will also accept a £20 p.a. rentcharge upon the 8¼a. upon the same terms as PA/101/12/124's £24; of the seven messuages, Cramp's is now held by Jesse Rogers, Sabin's by Joseph Jacques, and Butler's by -- Jeay - after Hannah's death they will descend successively to Elizabeth Hollick, John Hollick, their children equally, and the testator's surviving children and their issue; the trustees will hold five messuages, lately bought from John Masser's devisees, on behalf of Sarah with remainder to her issue and then to the testator's surviving children.
