Barrow Lees & Co., Werneth Colliery (BL2). Jul. 1801. 1 item.

14 horse power double-acting crank engine, with 20¾ inch cylinder, 4 foot stroke, parallel motion, [cast iron connecting rod].

Reverse plan and sections of the framing and boiler, drawings of the cistern (5 drawings on 1 sheet). All the drawings bear letter codes.

Original Portfolio or 'Book' No. 438. Catalogue of Old Engines p. 90.

For Barrow Lees & Co. Winding and pumping engine, Werneth Colliery, near Oldham.
